Saturday Shopping – Wanted: The right pants for dancing BTS's 'On'

I’m just a student dancer so always in need of an edge to boost my confidence level in class when I know I am far from perfect. It’s a process, after all.

My hiphop teacher said that when she was a student she did it by tying a flannel shirt around her waist or hips to raise her awareness of the body parts and where she should be moving. She also said she wears a bold red lipstick to make her feel more sexy and powerful.

But this was K-pop and the dance was going to be BTS’s powerful anthem, “On.” Usually I wear yoga pants, but this time I was looking for something looser in a color to match the mood of the song.

I had some loyalty certificates from Nordstrom and TJ Maxx, so even better, I only paid about $2 out of pocket for three items, including a foam roller I needed to stretch out my back for this dance. Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx and Ross are good places to find sportswear, something I don’t feel has to be in-season. It’s good enough to be working out at all, and if you can look cute doing it, so much the better!
